Payment Types in a Smart Payment Agreement

Created by Elizabeth Whyte, Modified on Tue, 8 Jul at 11:07 AM by Elizabeth Whyte

A payment type describes the payment being made in the agreement. The heading in the payment card describes the payment [see screenshot below], not the agreement type, e.g. Instalments and One-Off. Agreement types do not correspond to the type of payment.

Payment type outlined in yellow:

Different payment types:

  • Regular
  • Recover Funds
  • Ad Hoc
  • Manual Payment
  • External Payment
    • Cash
    • Point Of Sale
    • Waived Amount
    • Discount
  • Push Payment (e.g. BPay)
  • Vacate (SmartREP only)

Note: Refunds and Partial Refunds are an adjustment to a Regular payment, so they are not their own payment type.
